Accident essay story

I've been pretty silent about this story but now that it's been almost 5 months, I thought I feel the need to share this. Knowing that it is almost Thanksgiving, I am thankful for being alive and thankful for the support from friends and family over the past few months after my car accident. It happened on June 28th, 2017.

Personal Narrative Essay: My Experience In A Car Accident I had not ever been in a car accident before in my life, so when I experienced one, I did not enjoy nearly dying. It happened four years ago, I can still vividly remember everything. I was with my sister, Nakesha, she was driving since I was not old enough to drive yet.

My family and I were going on a camping trip and as we were traveling down the highway, a car accident occurred right in front of us. My father slammed on the brakes, veering to the left and causing our vehicle to careen into the highway median.

I was involved in my first car accident. I still remember hearing the crunch of metal and looking up and seeing my airbag had gone off. I was never involved in an accident before and never experienced the airbag going off. That was scary. I had to climb into the back seat to get out of the car.
